Terms and returns
Last updated:
These Terms and Returns apply to purchases made through official Dog Armour PRO sales channels and set out our policies regarding orders, shipping, delivery, cancellations, returns, refunds and product use.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, restrict or affect any mandatory statutory rights available to consumers under applicable law.
1. Shipping Policy
Orders are processed after payment confirmation, unless alternative payment terms have been expressly agreed in advance.
Preparation, shipping and delivery times are estimates and may vary depending on product availability, destination, carrier operations, customs procedures, logistical issues, public holidays, force majeure events or other circumstances beyond the reasonable control of Dog Armour PRO.
Orders may be shipped from our distribution centres in the United States or Europe depending on product availability, destination and logistical requirements.
Dog Armour PRO works with international carriers and ships worldwide.
Once an order has been dispatched, the customer will normally receive a shipping confirmation email including tracking information where available.
2. Delivery Issues
Deliveries will be made to the shipping address provided by the customer during checkout or when placing the order.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that all shipping information provided is accurate, complete and up to date.
Dog Armour PRO cannot be held responsible for delays, failed deliveries, additional costs or other delivery issues resulting from incorrect, incomplete or inaccurate information provided by the customer, except where otherwise required by applicable law.
Delivery dates and transit times provided by Dog Armour PRO or by the carrier are estimates and cannot be guaranteed.
Delays may occur due to carrier operations, customs procedures, logistical disruptions, weather conditions, public authorities or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
If a delivery issue arises, please contact our Customer Support Team at hola@dogarmour.com.
3. Order Changes and Cancellation
Customers should carefully review their order, products and shipping information before completing a purchase.
If an error is detected after placing an order, the customer should contact Dog Armour PRO as soon as possible.
We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate requested changes before dispatch, but changes cannot be guaranteed once an order has entered preparation or shipping.
Orders may generally be cancelled before dispatch.
Once an order has been shipped, it can no longer be cancelled and must instead be handled in accordance with the applicable Returns Policy.
Any mandatory cancellation or withdrawal rights provided by applicable consumer law remain unaffected.
4. Product Availability and Information
Dog Armour PRO continuously develops and improves its products.
Product availability, materials, components, colours, finishes, packaging and certain technical or manufacturing details may therefore change over time.
Dog Armour PRO reserves the right to introduce reasonable product improvements or modifications provided that such changes do not materially alter the essential characteristics of an order already placed, subject always to applicable law.
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, specifications, measurements and other information published through our sales channels accurately represent our products.
However, minor differences may occur as a result of manufacturing processes, product improvements, material variations, photography, lighting, screen settings or other reasonable circumstances.
5. Returns Policy
Returns may be requested within 15 calendar days from the date of delivery, without prejudice to any longer or additional rights that may apply under mandatory consumer protection legislation.
To request a return, customers must contact:
The request should include:
- Order number.
- Product or products to be returned.
- Reason for the return.
All returns require prior authorisation from Dog Armour PRO before being shipped.
Customers must follow the return instructions provided by our Customer Support Team.
Returns sent without prior authorisation or to an address other than the return address provided by Dog Armour PRO may not be accepted or may experience processing delays.
6. Return Conditions
Unless otherwise required by applicable law, returned products must be:
- unused;
- unworn, except to the extent reasonably necessary to inspect or assess the product;
- clean;
- undamaged;
- unmodified;
- in resalable condition; and
- returned with their original labels, accessories and packaging where reasonably applicable.
Products showing signs of actual training use, animal bites, impacts, excessive wear, contamination, misuse, improper handling, unauthorised modification or damage occurring after delivery may not qualify for return or refund, subject to applicable consumer law.
For hygiene and safety reasons, Dog Armour PRO reserves the right, where permitted by applicable law, to refuse returns of products that have been used in circumstances that materially affect their condition, hygiene, integrity or suitability for resale.
This provision does not affect the customer's statutory rights in relation to defective, incorrect or non-conforming products.
7. Return Shipping Costs
For returns approved in accordance with this policy, Dog Armour PRO will provide return instructions and cover the return shipping costs.
Customers must use the return procedure and, where applicable, the carrier or shipping method indicated by Dog Armour PRO.
Dog Armour PRO may not be responsible for costs resulting from returns arranged independently by the customer without prior authorisation.
8. Size Exchanges
Size exchanges may be requested within the applicable return period and are subject to product availability and prior approval by Dog Armour PRO.
Products returned for a size exchange must comply with the Return Conditions described above.
If the requested replacement size is unavailable, Dog Armour PRO may offer an alternative product, a refund or another appropriate solution.
9. Refunds
Once a returned product has been received, Dog Armour PRO will inspect it to verify compliance with the applicable return conditions.
Where a refund is approved, it will normally be issued using the original payment method, unless another method is expressly agreed or required by applicable law.
Refund processing times may vary depending on the payment provider, bank or financial institution.
Nothing in this section limits any refund rights or deadlines established by mandatory applicable law.
10. Incorrect, Damaged or Defective Products
If a customer receives an incorrect, damaged or potentially defective product, they should contact Dog Armour PRO as soon as reasonably possible at hola@dogarmour.com.
Customers may be asked to provide:
- the order number;
- a description of the issue;
- photographs or other reasonable evidence of the issue.
Dog Armour PRO may inspect or request the return of the product in order to determine the nature and cause of the reported issue.
Where the issue is confirmed to be our responsibility, Dog Armour PRO will provide an appropriate remedy, which may include replacement, repair or refund, in accordance with applicable law.
Damage resulting from misuse, improper maintenance, normal wear and tear, unauthorised modification, inappropriate storage or use outside the intended purpose of the product will not be considered a manufacturing defect, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
11. Product Use, Safety and Intended Purpose
Dog Armour PRO products are developed for specific applications and must be used in accordance with their intended purpose, available product instructions, recommendations and appropriate safety practices.
The customer and end user are responsible for evaluating whether a particular product is suitable for the intended application and circumstances of use.
Professional K9 Equipment
Dog Armour PRO Professional K9 Equipment is intended for use in controlled dog-training environments by experienced handlers, trainers, decoys and other appropriately trained users.
Activities involving working dogs, including bite work, protection training and other high-intensity exercises, involve inherent and potentially serious risks of injury to both humans and animals.
Dog Armour PRO equipment is designed to provide additional protection and functionality during these activities. However, no product can eliminate the inherent risks associated with K9 training or guarantee the prevention of injury.
Unless expressly stated otherwise for a specific product, Dog Armour PRO professional training products are not certified Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Users are responsible for evaluating the nature and risks of each training activity and determining the appropriate equipment, protective layers, training procedures and safety measures required for the circumstances.
Products should be inspected before use. Equipment showing significant wear, structural damage, deterioration, compromised materials or unauthorised alterations should not be used where such condition may affect its intended performance.
Dog Protection Products
Dog Armour PRO Dog Protection products are designed to provide dogs with an additional protective barrier against certain external hazards, depending on the specific product and circumstances of use.
No vest, fabric or protective product can guarantee complete protection or prevention of injury from an animal attack, bite, puncture, impact, sharp object, environmental hazard or other incident.
The level of protection provided may vary significantly depending on factors including, but not limited to:
- the nature and intensity of the incident;
- the force and duration of a bite, attack or impact;
- the area of the body affected;
- whether the affected area is covered by the product;
- the condition of the product;
- correct product use;
- the behaviour, size and characteristics of the animals involved; and
- other circumstances outside Dog Armour PRO's reasonable control.
Dog Protection products do not replace responsible supervision, appropriate preventive measures or veterinary care where required.
12. User Responsibility
By purchasing or using Dog Armour PRO products, customers and users acknowledge the importance of using the equipment appropriately and in accordance with its intended purpose.
The user is responsible for:
- selecting equipment appropriate for the intended activity;
- following applicable product instructions and recommendations;
- inspecting equipment before use;
- maintaining products appropriately;
- discontinuing use when damage or deterioration may compromise intended performance;
- using professional K9 equipment with the knowledge, experience and safety procedures appropriate to the activity; and
- providing appropriate supervision when Dog Protection products are used.
Improper use, negligent use, use outside the intended purpose, unauthorised modification or continued use of damaged or excessively worn equipment may reduce product effectiveness and increase the risk of injury.
13. No Guarantee of Injury Prevention
Dog Armour PRO designs and manufactures products intended to provide protection, functionality and durability within their intended applications.
However, because of the unpredictable nature of animal behaviour, K9 training, bites, attacks, impacts and other external hazards, Dog Armour PRO does not represent or warrant that any product will prevent all injuries, bites, punctures, impacts, trauma or other harm in every circumstance.
References on our website, packaging, documentation or marketing materials to terms such as “protection,” “protective,” “anti-bite,” “bite-resistant,” “impact protection,” “puncture resistance” or similar expressions describe the intended purpose, construction or characteristics of the relevant product.
Unless expressly and specifically stated otherwise, such terminology must not be interpreted as a guarantee of complete protection, absolute resistance, indestructibility or prevention of injury under all circumstances.
Product performance may vary according to the circumstances and conditions of each individual use.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Dog Armour PRO shall not be liable for injuries, losses or damages resulting from circumstances including:
- misuse or use outside the intended purpose of a product;
- failure to follow product instructions or safety recommendations;
- improper or negligent use;
- use of damaged, deteriorated or excessively worn equipment;
- unauthorised modification of a product;
- inadequate supervision;
- inappropriate training practices;
- use by persons without appropriate experience where professional experience is reasonably required;
- circumstances, forces, bites, impacts, attacks or hazards exceeding the intended function or reasonable capabilities of the product; or
- acts or behaviour of animals, users or third parties outside Dog Armour PRO's reasonable control.
The customer and user remain responsible for assessing the risks associated with the intended activity and implementing appropriate safety measures.
Nothing in these Terms shall exclude, restrict or limit any liability or statutory right that cannot legally be excluded, restricted or limited under applicable law.
15. Product Care, Wear and Service Life
Dog Armour PRO products may be subject to wear and deterioration as a result of normal use, particularly products used in demanding professional training environments.
The service life of a product depends on multiple factors, including frequency and intensity of use, type of activity, maintenance, cleaning, storage conditions, exposure to bites or impacts and general treatment of the equipment.
Customers and users are responsible for regularly inspecting their equipment and replacing products when wear, damage or deterioration may affect their intended function.
Normal wear and tear resulting from use does not constitute a manufacturing defect.
16. Force Majeure and Circumstances Beyond Our Control
Dog Armour PRO shall not be liable for delays or failure to perform obligations where such delay or failure results from circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
Such circumstances may include, without limitation, natural disasters, severe weather events, fires, floods, armed conflicts, civil disturbances, pandemics, strikes, transportation disruptions, carrier interruptions, customs delays, interruption of essential services, supply-chain disruptions, actions or restrictions imposed by public authorities, regulatory changes or other extraordinary circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Where such circumstances occur, Dog Armour PRO will make reasonable efforts to minimise disruption and fulfil affected orders as soon as reasonably possible.
17. Mandatory Consumer Rights
These Terms and Returns establish Dog Armour PRO's general commercial policies.
They do not exclude, restrict or replace any mandatory rights available to consumers under the laws applicable to their purchase.
Where any provision of these Terms conflicts with a mandatory consumer protection law applicable to a particular transaction, the applicable mandatory legal provision shall prevail to the extent of that conflict.
18. Changes to These Terms
Dog Armour PRO may update these Terms and Returns from time to time to reflect changes in our operations, products, services, legal requirements or commercial policies.
The version applicable to an order will generally be the version in effect when the order was placed, except where a subsequent change is required by applicable law.
